Hamer

Jol Dantzig and Paul Hamer started selling guitars under the "Hamer" name as early as 1973. Hamer and Dantzig met in 1970 while working at Northern Prairie Music. The company was known for its high end vintage instruments. This "vintage" influence can be seen throughout the Hamer line. Deltzig and Hamer were open to innovation as well, balancing the best of the old with the very best of the new. Their relationship as business partners and as craftsmen created a line of "boutique" guitars that are renowned for their quality and sought after by the Pro's.

Hamer Guitars was bought by Kaman Music Corporation in 1988. Then in 2007 guitar giant Fender Musical Instruments acquired them. With the tradition Hamer has established in the industry there brand name continues to grow in its reach. Their innovation and design is constantly pushing what players expect from them and their guitars.
