Which Washburn Guitar Should I get?
Anthony C asked:
Hi, I'm a beginning guitar player and I have it narrowed down to these 3 guitars. A washburn X-10, washburn X-12, or a Washburn WI14. The X-12 and WI14 have double humbuckers, and the X-10 has a single humbucker and 2 single coil pickups. I'm going to be using a roland cube amp, and a digitech processor pedal. I will also be using two boss pedals, one being a SD-1 super overdrive and the other one being a DD-5 Digital Delay. Which one of these three guitars would be the best choice for me? Thanks, Tony
I dont have much money to spend probably up to $300 on the guitar itself. I am looking to play more classic rock sounding music.... um a comparison would be to play similar as how to sound like lindsey buckingham. He plays a rick turner Model 1, but unfortunatley, I dont have $3,800! But thats the sound I wanna be similar to. If you never heard of him hes on youtube just listen to a few of the videos or on his website. lindseybuckingham.com
Idk much about guitars but I've heard you get a fuller sound with double humbuckers. Thanks for all the answers so far

If it were me (which it’s not) but I think I would go with the X-10 with the single humbucker and dual single coils

well, if i were you i wouldn’t get a washburn. it depends on how much money you have to spend on a guitar. if you want a nice beginer guitar I suggest that you look at epiphone and squire guitars. they’ll have the sound your looking for, trust me. what guitar you get usually depends on what style of music you like.

i would get the X-10, then you could have a little bit of both, single coil, and a humbucker, my friend has this guitar and he loves it,
God Bless

I have a Washburn Mavrick BT-2 and it works fine for about anything but Jazz. it has double humbuckers, and is worth trying out.
