I have a Washburn Mavrick BT-2 and it works fine for about anything but Jazz. it has double humbuckers, and is worth trying out.

i would get the X-10, then you could have a little bit of both, single coil, and a humbucker, my friend has this guitar and he loves it,

God Bless

well, if i were you i wouldn't get a washburn. it depends on how much money you have to spend on a guitar. if you want a nice beginer guitar I suggest that you look at epiphone and squire guitars. they'll have the sound your looking for, trust me. what guitar you get usually depends on what style of music you like.

If it were me (which it's not) but I think I would go with the X-10 with the single humbucker and dual single coils
